Black Cell in Excel

I have an Excel spreadsheet with 1,082 rows. Row number 584 is black with
white lettering. It is not a border or fill color and I have been unable to
remove the shading. Does anyone know how to fix this without doing a paste
special (which does not work in this workbook, but if I open a new one it
does) or what has caused it?

Have you checked to see if that row has any conditional formatting? To
check, select a cell in the row and then open the menu item Format >
Conditional Formatting. If it does, highlight the entire row and go
back into Conditional Formatting. Select the Delete button and check
all three rules.
