Black lines in images converted from PPT2003 to PPt2007

When converting 2003 files to 2007, some images have black horizontal lines.
Any suggestions as to the cause or fix?

Why and "how" are you using and pasting the pictures as wmz?

All of them (except "3 Month Post Op" in Slide 3, which is the only one that
is a jpg) are Windows Compressed Metafiles...

Any suggestions as to the fix

Copy them, either in 2003 or 2007 and use "Paste special" as png...
