I am synching Outlook 2003 on my Windows XP machine with a Blackberry 7230.
I was unable to do so on first try and had to create a 2nd profile just for
the Blackberry. All seemed to be well until I went to look up an address.
The contact phone information was there but not the address. After some
research, there are many addresses that will just not sync over from Outlook
to the Blackberry and there doesn't seem to be a pattern.
After hours on the phone with the Rim people in Canada I was advised that my
Outlook must be corrupted and needed to be reinstalled. He also had me
uninstall Business Contacts, saying that was probably the problem. I did
but it wasn't.
Actually I am getting a few odd things going on with Outlook (e.g. the
Unjunk option isn't showing up on the toolbar) so I may need to re-install.
Questions:
1. Does anyone have any other ideas as to why this issue of the synching is
problematic?
2. How do I re-install Outlook?
