Blank Characters in data

I was wondering if there was a way to rid datalists of occurences like these:

Mr A S(Blank Characters)
Mith

As they are actual characters searching for blank spaces and replacing them
with nothing does not work. Any suggestions?

sorry just to clarify its as if blank characters overlap actual letters so
you have to manually hit backspace over a letter to make the space disappear.
hope this makes sense :p

One thing you can try is Find/Replace. In the find what box, hold down the
Alt key and enter 255 or 0160 (using the number keypad-you should get a
special character that appears to be a space). Don't enter anything in the
replace with box. Replace all. Be sure to back up your data.

Hi Davids,

Instead of using alt + numbers, put a space with space bar and try to
replace. It will work.
