Blank Internet Headers on Sent Mail

Diane

Recently I noticed that there are no internet headers in
sent email (highlight an email in Sent Items, click on
Tools, then Options). This came about because my mother-
in-law is having problems sending emails, some are
received by the recipient while others are not. In all
cases, the internet headers are blank. I went back and
looked at some old sent emails and found that they contain
internet headers.

Can you tell me if this is due to new security changes or
is this a bug?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I have some additional information. Emails that were sent
to me that were replied to or forwarded have internet
headers. Emails that originated from me do not.

I'm not sure if this is relevant.

Thanks again.

The Message Header gets added by the mailserver so they won't show up in
your Sent Items folder

Are you sending from an Exchange server from work? If yes, this is the
expected behavior.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Diane asked:
