Blank record in DAO recordset sent in email report

I am sending an email using a query to create a report from a recordset and
it is sending a blank record, which I belive is the "new" record. How do I
just send the populated records and not the "new" record?

The new record only appears on forms and datasheet view. It's never
in a recordset.
