Blank slides when importing to PPT2003

A colleague has just shown me a very strange bug!

He opened a PPT2000 file with PPT2003 and discovered that some of the
slides are now blank!

Any ideas?

He should update his Office 2003. Installing service packs 1 and 2 (SP1 as a
minimum) should solve the problem.
