Block Email Addresses in Message

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop When I send an email, not only the name of the person is listed but their email address as well. How do I block the email addresses from being shown? I only want the name to show. John R

It's not clear if you mean to an individual person or to a group. If
sending to a group, use BCC and no one can see the other addresses or
names.

Both - to an individual and a group.


There is no way to an individual and why would you want to? Maybe I'm
not getting your complete question.

For a group, enter the group in the BCC line of the message. This will
automatically hide the addresses. You can put your email in the â€to“
line. Many ISPs will require a â€to“ recipient.
