Block Shift+Del to delete E-mails in Outlook

Dag N

I have a user that accidental using Shift+Del to permanent delete e-mails
(the warning message is either disabled or ignored). It is quite often this
is happening. Is there a setting in registry that can prevent this type of
action.
The user is running WinXP and OfficeXP.

Thank in advance.

Nope, and the warning message isn't disabled but simply being ignored by the
user. SHIFT+DEL and then ENTER; I do it all the time (when I need to)

You can force the warning message with a group policy object in AD, but the
bottom line is that the user needs to learn from their mistakes not to
ignore the warning message. ("There are seldom technological solutions to
behavioral problems.")

"There are seldom technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Like banging your head against the keyboard when you can't find the ANY
key...
