Block Spotlight from Entourage contacts ?

Is there a way to do so?

I don't use Entourage. I use Address Book but I have recently synced
(not continuously) Entourage to Address Book so that I can get to
addresses for letters/envelopes when using Word 2008.

You can manually delete the cache files.

"YOUR USER FOLDER/Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage"

Find contacts for your Identity and delete that folder.

Yes, there is no way not to index everything for Spotlight. It's possible
you could lock that folder, but it might cause problems.

I don't understand why you care...

Because I don't want to update the info in Entourage since I don't use
it and I don't continually sync it.

Because I can get to the info in Address Book faster.

So turn off Spotlight support in Entourage's preferences:

General Preferences:Spotlight:Include Entourage items in Spotlight
search results.
