BLOCKED ATTACHMENTS

I use outlook express and all my attachments are
quarantined except simple office documents. I have
changed security settings several times but to no avail.
I have a DSL line with Black Ice and Norton for security.
Any ideas / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So you have unchecked the box which says "Do not allow attachments to be
opened or saved that could potentially be a virus"?
