use the bcc when you send the email. this sends a blind
copy to the user and they can only see their name.

There is one problem with using BCc in that manner. If
one of the recipients chooses to "Reply All" the "To"
field will show EACH AND EVERY address to which the email
went, even those that were "blind Cc".

where did you get that idea? a BCC will only list the sender's address when
they reply or reply to all. A CC will list all recipients for a Reply to
All.
