I have a number of documents which were created in Word 97. They are about
2MB in size and have a number of diagrams.
We (large govt network) have recently moved to Office 2003. Working within
these documents is fine but if I copy any of the disgrams into a new
document, the new document size is anywhere between 3 MB and 70 MB depending
on the number of diagrams, eg doing a Save As on the old document will create
a 70MB doc.
Copying text seems to be OK.
Word often gets Not Responding due to the effort requried in saving!
Any ideas.
