Body of email disappearing after being processed by Outlook rules

We have a few users using Outlook 2000 who receive plain text messages where
the body of the message disappears after being processed by a rule which
places it in a personal folder. This doesn't happen to every message and it
isn't dependent on who originates the email. Anyone seen this before and
have a solution?
