Body text set up

I have created a new letter temple with header and footer and also text down
the side. Looks great but now I'm having trouble setting up the page itself
to type. When I set up a margin in from the edge of the page beyond the edge
of the footer it changes the footer margin as well. how do I stop this
happening?

Instead of changing the page margins, which will affect the header and
footer, create a style for the body text of your document, and alter the
INDENT in that style only.
