BOOK FOLD N WORD MULTIPLE ERRORS N SOFTWARE

Finally got started better after 3-4 hours of tech support with India making
OFFICE 2007 WORD do a BOOK FOLD doc for my Course guide I need for students
by Monday.

Now program is very flakey . . . saving after ??? pages ??? minutes??? the
save to screen to list HD's etc. to save to only shows blank white screen.
And on printing after copying and pasting 11 pages worth paragraph by
paragraph . . . saved filed only went to page 6. And footer with page number
info piled all the characters on top of each other in space for one
character. Same type error scattered throughout the text.

After $250 plus now $50 for tech support . . . plus plus plus largely this
past week to get this task done in time . . . this bunch of problems is
beyond exasperating and infuriating.

Your description of your problem is unclear, but I think I grasp your
general problems. They all look like a corrupt or incompatible printer
driver is the cause. Make sure that you have the latest driver for your
printer and then delete and reinstall the printer. If that fails, install a
different driver.

THANKS TONS for your kind msg and suggestions. All that has been done at
least a time or two.

The latest is that MS searched with some trouble searching software and said
that the ISS BLACK ICE security software that came with the Gateway was
causing the problem. So, as instructed, I deleted the old one and installed
the new one. Nothing was said about finding a licensing key first and I
didn't think of it. Now the new install wants the licensing key which is
unfindable. Sigh. Maybe rebooting the Gateway would find it but I'm
skeptical. It did come bundled on the HD.

AND, MERCIFULLY, MS WORD HAS BEEN FUNCTIONING MOSTLY WELL IN TERMS OF
PRINTING THE NEEDED COURSE GUIDE . . . which I need to get back to--about 80%
or so finished.

Greatly appreciate your helpful ideas.

Blessings to you and your loved ones in the NEW YEAR.
