Booklet problems for a beginner (me)

A

Alan Lovett

I'm trying to print a 4 sheet (16 page) booklet in Word 2003. I followed the
help instructions fairly thoroughly but it prints some sheets as if it isn't
a booklet; i.e. pages 2 and 3 are printed on the same side of paper and so
on. This is new territory for me so I'd appreciate some basic help.

Regards, Alan.

Word's "Book fold" in Word 2002 was not quite ready for prime time, and I
haven't heard that anything has changed in Word 2003, but just to be clear
on what should be happening, in a 16-page booklet, you should be getting the
following page pairs:

16 and 1
2 and 15
14 and 3
4 and 13

and so on. I gather this is *not* what you are getting? If you give up on
"Book fold," see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/BookletPrinting.htm
