Bookmark Not Defined: Index Entries

I'm experiencing a weird issue where some of my index
entries become corrupt after simple editing. The 'x' in
the xe entry disappears and then I get the Bookmark Not
Defined error. It's also affecting some of my inline
table cross references. Any ideas or help would be much
appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Naomi,

What type of editing changes are you making to the index entry? Are
you editing the index field? If so, can you provide an example of the
type of modifications you are making?
