Border appears on every new doc

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Every time I open a new doc, a border appears (and prints) around my document as if it were a preference...this just started happening and I don't know how to stop it.

It sounds like you've recently applied either a paragraph border or a page
border & managed to save it to your Normal.dotm template. If you have no
customizations to be concerned about you can simply delete the template ‹
Word will create a new 'clean' one on next launch. See the instruction here:
