border help

I am currently using Publisher 2000 and I am creating a
brochure. I choose to add a circle using the circle icon
button located at the left hand side of my screen. I wish
to change the border to dots, but it will not let me.
However, when I choose the square, it gave me the optin
for border art, where the circle did not. This is normal?
How can I get my circles to have border arts? Any
suggestions would help out a lot!

You can't, automatically.
But you could create a circle and use it as a guide to placing clipart or
other shapes to create your own BorderArt effect.

Lis,

In addition to Ed's advice, you can:

1. Go to Insert > Picture > New Drawing
2. Using the Autoshapes Toolbar, draw a circle
3. At the bottom of your screen you will see a toolbar with line options.
Here you can choose a dotted border.
4. Then click anywhere on the scratch area of your publication to accept
your new circle.
