Borders and Shading Options

D

Dave J.

After typing a 50-page report, I find that a few pages
print with a solid black line at the bottom of the page.
This line does not show up in "Print Layout View", but
the "Borders and Shading Option" does show a "Custom"
Borders setting (even though I didn't select it).

I can change the Borders setting to "None", but that only
moves the solid black line up to the next paragraph
(again, only shows up on hard copy printout).

Is there an easy way to delete the solid black line that
is showing up on the hard copy?

Thanks, Jay. I wasn't aware of this document. I'm
still having problems with the black bar and the
bottom-of-page margin being different than the
other pages, but your reference should help!

Ctrl+A to select the entire document. Then click the No Border button on the
flyout palette from the Borders button on the Formatting toolbar or choose
None in Format | Borders and Shading.
