Borders around Autoshapes in Powerpoint

How do I remove borders from autoshapes - only appears when I print preview
in black and white. I've changed the line color to none, to white, and
nothing! It still appears.

Try gray scale. In pure black and white, PowerPoint uses the line around the
object to define its presence. With gray scale it uses whatever the fill is to
define it, even if there is no fill.
