Borders around text

Ive been creating a letter head for my husband and cant get the borders off
the textboxes- when I print the page- the words are outlined even when I went
to format/ borders/none???
Can someone tell me how to get them off?

Select a text box first, then click on Format | Borders and Shading | Borders
| None.

If you have the Drawing toolbar displayed, select the text box and choose No
Line from the Line dropdown. Otherwise, right-click on the box, choose
Format | Text Box, and, on the Lines and Colors tab, choose No Line.
