Borders on inserted pictures

Bludgeon

Whenever I insert a picture into a Word 2007 document it automatically comes
with a blue border. I do not want this border on my inserted item. Is there a
way to stop this happening or even removing them once they are there?

Thanks

Are you referring to the "blue border" that appears when you (select click
on) the picture - and goes away when you select something else or click in
the text? If so, then no, you can't "stop this from happening" because that
is the container which holds the picture. It doesn't display unless the
picture is selected & doesn't print under any circumstances.

If it's a border that doesn't go away when you deselect the picture you'll
need to be more exact about what it is. It can probably be dealt with by
changing the picture format properties or by cropping the image, but unless
you know what you're dealing with it's difficult to say how to remove it.
