bottom margin defaults to .58 inches

I cannot figure out WHY the bottom margin defaults to .58 on all my word
docs and I am not given the ability to change it.

The most recent example is in working with labels, but it happens on all of
my word docs.

I am trying to print labels using the Avery 8164 label template available
within word - it was not a download

My bottom two labels (out of six) are missing the last portion of ink. The
label template shows a "0" bottom margin, but my printer STOPS at .58 inches.

I've tried to reset normal.dot template in the Template Directory of
Microsoft, but I'm still not aloud to change the bottom margin to anything
less than .58 inches. This is driving me crazy.

Now my labels are even printing "borderless" at the top, even though none of
my print options are set to a "borderless" option.

HELP!

This is nothing to do with Word, actually, but is a limitation of your
printer, which has a 0.58" unprintable area at the bottom.
