I just bought Publisher 2003 yesterday. I spent 3 hours creating a project. I tried to laod the saved project and got the message "Publisher can not open file. I tried open pun 97 files with the same result. I've used Publisher 2.0, 97 for years. What am I missing?

What happens if you double-click the file?
Error Message When You Try to Create a New Document in an Office 2003 Program

Under help, use the detect and repair feature.
Publisher creates temp files, see if you can open it. You could have a corrupt image.
If all fails, you can recover the text, file, open, files of type, scroll down to
"recover text from any file"
