Office 2003 SP3 under Vista.
When my app ran under XP I was able to drag and drop a JPG image into my
Bound Object Frame that was bound to an OLE Object field and it would show
the image.
Now under Vista it just shows a very small generic picture plus the image
name underneath. It only shows this for NEW images I have dragged and dropped
- prior images are shown as images.
When I look at the OLE Oject field in the table the OLD images have "Paint
Shop Pro..." as the description and when I double-click the field Paint Shop
Pro (it's an image processing program) opens up and displays the image.
The NEW images have "package' as the description in the field and when
double-clicked the generic Windows Photo Gallery Viewer displays the image
correctly.
It seems the NEW images are stored as links in the OLE Oject field - maybe.
The 'OLE Type allowed' property in the control is set to 'embedded'.
