Broken Query

What do I need to do to Access 2002 so that when I open a Query that has
broken links to tables it doesn't replace the name with the word FEILD # Name
of Table.Source.

This drives me nuts because not only do you have the link to fix, but then
you have go to each feild and remove the added word.

Is there anything I can do?

When you see that, leave the query and don't save it. If you save it when
you return to the query designer your field name won't be there. Fix the
table link and go back into the query and it should be there.
