BUBBLE CHART VSS- does not work

B

Brent

Hi- Purchased Visor based on the recommendation that it could create a
Bubble chart from Data-
http://blogs.msdn.com/visio/archive/2007/02/06/introducing-the-bubble-chart.aspx

I downloaded the Buble chart VSS file from the blog and then followed the
Directions implicitly. Does not work. I had my programmer look at it
briefly and he went through it with me. Did not work.

I then used the data flow diagram and used the data link- Worked perfectly
except for the SIZE... the size is static no matter what you put in. Can
anyone help me with this?
We bought Viso for this and only this application and now it does not work
at all like the blog says it should.

Thanks

I just downloaded the BubbleChart.vss and followed the instructions
implicitly too ... and it worked brilliantly.
The only bit that I thought was unclear is that you must not drag the rows
of data on to the Bubble Chart shape itself ... you must drop into a clear
area of the page (with the Bubble Data master highlighted).

I'm sorry, your post got me excited about the Bubble Chart, so I have done
my own blog ( http://bvisual.spaces.live.com/?lc=2057 ) It demonstrates how,
with some VBA, you can enhance the Bubble Chart to show the current map from
MapPoint, so that you can link shapes using longitude and latitude.

Dave- I tried dragging to an empty space- did not work. I am wondering if I
have a bdd VSS file? Or if my 2007 visio version will not do it? Or if my
data is faulty?

I have a MS support guy working with me and we can not get this silly thing
to work-

We are looking at Smart Draw as an Option if we can not do this...

Dave- could you send me this new VSS file- this is awsome. I feel like a
kid who is watching all his friends eating candy and I can not have any!
Thanks
