Bubble Gant chart on Portfolio analyzer

I have to create a bubble chart, the two axes on this chart represent the
risk related to a project and the importance of the project itself. The
bubbles represents the projects and the size of the bubbles represent the
cost of each project. There is no total between those available that can be
suitable for the axes I have to represent, it means I have to create a new
total, doesn't it?
When I try to do it, only the customized outline codes, and not the
customized fields, appear in the list of elements I can use to create the
formula for the new total. But if I try to create a total using an outline
code, an SQL server message appears. I don't know if the mistake is in the
way I try to create the formula or if it is in using outline codes instead of
fields. But how can I create a formula with a customized field if this
doesn't appear between the elements I can use to create a new total? Should I
try to create the total using the available fields?
