[bug?]acc 03 combobox autocomplete

Acc 03 and combobox.
I set combo box's AutoExpand property to Yes.
I repair office installation.
When i type a letter in a text combobox the name no autocomplete, it work
only with number , hour.
After a lot of tests i found check SQL server compatible syntax (ansi 92),
if i uncheck it works again.
Is it a bug or works so ?
