Bug in notifications prefs.

I've run extended tests and there is definitely a bug in the notification sound prefs.
In Tiger (10.4.11) all works fine. But in Leopard (10.5.2)the notification sounds only work once. i.e. you send an email and the notification sound works, you send or receive another email and it doesn't work.
You can't even here the sound when you click on the speaker icon in the notification prefs. box after you send or receive mail or get the no mail sound. It's a one time event. You have to restart entourage to go back into the same problem loop.
Using a PPC and an Intel computer and both have the same results. If Microsoft reads these messages then maybe they will fix it. But there is no forum to tell Microsoft (unlike other software companies) to inform them of problems.
I guess $300 for software doesn't go very far anymore with Microsoft.

This is a very well-known issue and has been discussed ad nauseum in
this newsgroup.

An Office 12.0.1 update is slated for release around March 11 but no one
yet knows if it will correct this problem.

Microsoft does not use forums for regular feedback. You should use the
Help --> Send Feedback tool found in each Office application.
