Try the following steps to reproduce it :
1. Open Excel.
2. Uncheck View -> Formula Bar
3. Enter multi-line, <alt-return>, text in a cell.
4. Get the clipboard showing (e.g. by pressing <ctrl>+c twice)
5. Clear clipboard ('clear all') button.
6. Select a single word within the text of the cell. (e.g. double click then highlight)
7. Press <ctrl>+x
Expected : [word] appears in clipboard contents and is removed from cell.
Actual result : [Entire cell] appears in clipboard contents but only [word] is
removed from cell.
This only happens when the Formula Bar is not shown - even if you are
editing in the cell and _not_ the Formula Bar.
