I have Office Professional 2003 and XP Home.
When I try to format a word in Word, eg by selecting the word then clicking
the bold icon, this format is applied to the whole document, although
clicking the Undo icon the formatting applied to the rest of the document is
undone, leaving me with what I want.
Also, when the formatting goes wrong it also sometimes adds carriage returns
to the footer, making it taller, and this has to be corrected by me.
The problem does not occur every time I try to apply formatting to a document.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
