Build Team from Enterprise load time

Does anyone have any tips for speeding up the Build Team from Enterprise
function?

We have almost 900 resources loaded in the global Enterprise pool and
Project Managers who are in the same building as the server wait about 30
seconds to load the build team window. Remote offices on T1 lines end up
waiting for several minutes.

We've been running SP1 for serveral months but have not loaded any of the
post service pack hotfixes. It looks like one of the hotfixes is fixing slow
load times in the project center but I'm not sure if loading that would help
the build team function.

Any Ideas??

If you are using Project Server 2003, you can use the Team Builder Lite tool
on the Project Center page in PWA. To use the tool, select a project and
then click the Build Team button. The top section of the Build Team page
allows you to pre-filter the Build Team list and shorten the load time.
