Building custom fields from database and populate the bookmarks.

Hi,

I'm new to Microsoft office System developing with visual studio.Net. I need
some help to develop document templates for system admin modules.

Basically i should develop custom fields which will load from database. when
user selects these custom fields, it will create a bookmark with the select
field.

This is to develop using asp.net and word 2003. And what is the best
possible way to populate the custom fields (like menus, CommandBar combo
list, ...???).

Please guide me which one to choose and I appreciate if any one send me the
code and guide lines.

I'm very new to programming MS word 2000/2003 or ( VBA - ms word 2000).

I need to populate custom fields like eg: <#customername#>,
<#InvoiceID#>...These fields should populate in a list/ menu ..When the user
selects from the list/menu the bookmark will create at a cursor location.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards
Bhaskara
