When I add the Work shortcut to my toolbar, then add a file to it. How do I
delete that file from it ? not the Work shortcut.

From somewhere, I remember not;
"If you need to remove a file from your Work menu, press [Ctrl] + [Alt]
+ [-] and the cursor will change to become a thick black bar. Click the
Work menu and then the filename of the file to remove from the menu - it
will disappear automatically. In fact, this keystroke combination isn't
peculiar to the Work menu and it can be used to remove any menu item
from any Word menu."

IIRC you've got to be careful because "..it can be used to remove any
menu item from any Word menu."
