Builting team from resource pool error

K

Kurt Verhaegen

Hi,
If we build a project team from the enterprise resource pool we get the
error: 'an import error occurred. Check row 72 column Reserved_ResumeDate.
This is not a valid date, ...... To continue...'.
We receive this for Reserved_ResumeDate and Reserved_StopDate, and for 9 rows.
This error occurred with every project, and always when opening the wizard
Building Team.

Does anybody how to find the errors (I assume in Resource Pool) and how to
correct them?

It sounds like you have problems with your Enterprise Resource Pool. I
would suggest you try this to solve the problems:

1. Open the Enterprise Resource Pool and check out all resources
2. Double-click on each resource
3. In the Resource Information dialog, examine the Available From and
Available To dates in the Resource Availability section of the General page

The default Available From and Available To values should be NA, which
indicates that the resource is available at 100% Units from now into the
indefinite future. If you have changed the Max. Units value for anyone, you
will see that value as the Units value in the Resource Availability grid.
If you see any dates in that grid, examine the dates, then look for and
correct date logic problems. Otherwise, clear the dates in these two
fields. Save and close the Enterprise Resource Pool when finished. Hope
this helps.
