bullet fonts change print different that shows on screen

I am using Windows XP with MS Office 2003 (part of MS
Office Small Business Edition).

When I make a bullet, regardless of if I use automatic
bullets in Format menu or if I actually create my own
bullet (by using Symbol font or something), what prints on
the paper is different that what I see on screen. (Always
a "symbol" font, but not the one I need.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Hi, k,

I've seen this happen if your printer driver needs to be updated. Go to the
web site of the printer manufacturer and get the latest printer driver. You
might also try using a PCL driver if you're using a postscript driver, or
vice-versa, if both are available.
