Bullet Problems in Word

Everytime i click on bullets on Microsoft Word (XP), i
get an error message, and I have to reatart the program.
I tried re-installing Word but it didn't work.
Can anyone help me?

We are having the same exact problem! We have Windows XP
& Word didn't come with our Dell. So, we went to Office
Max & purchased the Microsoft Office XP Standard for
Students and Teachers for $100+. We have a his & her
side on the computer if that makes any sense. On my side
I can use the bullets. On my husbands side if you click
them it pops up an error message & says it needs to shut
down. We have tried uninstalling & reinstalling & we are
still having the problem. Hope someone can help us out!

I un & reinstalled my dell printer but it still
happens. :(
