Bullet spacing issue after copy and paste

T

Tom

I don't know if this is a problem with the template, object, or what, but
when I copy bullets from one slide and try to paste them into a text box in
another slide, I lose the ability to adjust the bullet spacing, indents,
levels, etc. (PowerPoint 2003)

I can still move the indents on the ruler, but it no longer affects the
bullet spacing. When I try and indent another level, again, the ruler shows
another indent but nothing on the text.

This only happens when I try to copy and paste a text box from one to
another. If I copy and paste an individual bullet from one to the other, it
works OK. Anyone seen this before? Is this a problem with the file I am
editing or a PowerPoint problem? FYI, if I open a new file, I can get it to
happen to a point, by typing bullets, copying and pasting the slide, deleting
the bullets in the second slide, and then trying to paste the bullets into
the text box - but the results are not consistent.

Thanks
