Bullets change color when file is opened on a Mac

I prepared a Powerpoint file on a pc, and set the colors in the style master
sheet.
When my client opens the file on a Mac, the bullet colors revert to black.
Short of restyling on the Mac side, can anyone tell me how to correct this
problem?
