bullets in bordered paragraph

J

Jaco du Toit

When you create a border around a paragraph and then add
a bullet to text inside the bordered text, it creates a
border around that one bullet you just created.

How do I stop this from happening?

Make sure that the bullet is not indented from the left margin. Choose
Format>Bullets and Numbering, click the Customize button; in the
Customize Bulleted List dialog box, under "Bullet position", make sure
"Indent at" is set to 0.

If you use the List Bullet style it's even easier, since its left
indent is zero by default, so all you have to do is to add border
formatting identical to that of your unbulleted paragraphs. For more
