Outlook 2003 on an IMAP account:
After I'm done reading new messages, I usually go to Edit > Purge
deleted messsages to remove the ones I have deleted.
Most of the time after the purging has occurred, Outlook 2003 will leave
a bunch of messages near the end of my list (which happen to be the most
recent, because I sort on Received) get selected.
I had _not_ selected these before the purge operation.
The number of selected messages varies. It doesn't seem to be the
number of messges purged, which is usually a lot more.
Any ideas as to what might be happening? Thanks.
