burn dvd

My new HP Media Center PC m1170n is causing me problems. I try to burn a
dvd, and it repeatedly tells me to insert a blank DVD-R. I do, and the same
box keeps popping up. Any suggestions?

A newsgroup that deals with Windows XP Media Center edition would be a
better place to get an answer to this question. This newsgroup deals with
Microsoft Access database software.

On the other hand, if there is a hardware problem with the DVD-writer, HP
support would be the place to go. Check the newsgroup first, though, in case
this is a known phenomenon...
