business cards

If you are using sheets of preperfed cards (Avery or the like), go to Tools
| Envelopes and Labels and select the Labels tab, click Options..., and
select your brand and stock number (or the Avery equivalent). Enter the
information in the window, using the "Full page of the same label" setting,
or click New Document to get a full sheet of cards. Cards (like all
"labels") are set up as a table, so be sure you have table gridlines
displayed (Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries.

If you want to add graphics to the label, see
http://www.gmayor.com/graphics_on_labels.htm. Once you've set up a single
card, you can Copy it, select the entire table, and Paste, and the cell
contents will be pasted to every cell. Note, however, that if you want a
complex layout, it is much easier to do this in Publisher if that is
available to you; there you just set up one card and tell Publisher to print
it 10 times on the page.
