trying to be unique in creating contractor business cards something out of
the ordinary

Since your business is "unique" to you, just use the same creativity that
sets you apart from your competitors. Publisher has built in templates for
this that you can modify with your current logo and color scheme. Choice of
card stock to print with is another way to be "unique".
