Bypassing Protections

I sent a protected worksheet to a user, who later returned
it to me with modifications and no protection. Besides
hacking the protection password, how does a user get
around the protection feature?

Copy the cells and paste them to an unprotected worksheet.

I am sure there are otherways.

not sure but if you copy every thing and then paste it back into a new sheet
I think that overcomes the protection.
then the new sheet can be renamed as the old one.
