Cached Distribution List ?

I've got a user who created a distribution list a while ago and has been using it. She removed some people from the list, but when she sends to the list now, it still sends to the people who were removed. This has happened several times. I created a new profile for her at one point, but it's happening again. Any ideas on what's happening and how to fix it? Thanks
