Cached mode Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003

I am currently using outlook 2003 and an exchange server
2003, outlook is set up in cached mode, which I am
assuming is supposed to synch the data between outlook
locally on my machine and on the server?
However this is not happening, does anyone have any ideas?

Stupid question, perhaps, but do you have cached mode enable? Tools>E-mail
accounts>Next. Select the Exchange account and click Change, then More
Settings and then the Advanced tab.
